Nestled inside a Marathon gas station in Alpharetta, Red Bug Biscuit Company is a delightful breakfast treasure that transforms the everyday stop into a morning ritual worth savoring. Specializing in Southern-style biscuits and hearty breakfast sandwiches, this unassuming spot has quickly become a favorite among locals craving a genuine morning bite that feels homemade.
The star here is undoubtedly the biscuit—fluffy, buttery, and perfectly flaky with just the right amount of saltiness to awaken your palate. Whether you choose a classic biscuit smothered in creamy gravy or build your own sandwich with real, grill-cooked eggs and your choice of savory bacon, sausage patty, or spicy sausage links, each bite bursts with freshness and flavor. Clay Adams captures it well when he raves, "They have the BEST BISCUITS!! Hands down!! Ham, sausage, bacon, fried steak, eggs, hash browns, grits, biscuits w/ gravy!! All delicious!!" The menu offers a comforting blend of traditional Southern breakfast staples that are thoughtfully prepared every morning, ensuring that even a rushed grab-and-go meal doesn’t sacrifice taste.
The atmosphere at Red Bug Biscuit Company is casual and approachable, with fast and friendly service that makes you feel welcomed like a regular on your very first visit. The convenience of ordering at the counter and paying at the general register inside the gas station adds to the charm—proving that exceptional food doesn’t always come from flashy locations. Derek Singley points out the thoughtful balance they strike with their freshly made sandwiches kept warm and ready for those in a hurry, alongside made-to-order options that invite you to slow down and enjoy every bite.
What truly sets Red Bug Biscuit Company apart is that it defies expectations—you wouldn’t guess that some of the area’s best breakfast sandwiches come from a spot tucked within a fueling station. Todd Sorzano’s enthusiasm sums it up perfectly: “Don’t let the fact that it’s inside the Marathon gas station fool you, these are the best breakfast sandwiches around.” From the flaky, buttery biscuits to the quality ingredients and speedy, courteous service, this is a place that feels like a well-kept secret you want to share with everyone.
For those seeking authentic Southern breakfast flavors with an inviting, no-fuss vibe, Red Bug Biscuit Company delivers a memorable start to your day—one perfectly crafted biscuit at a time.

Delicious breakfast sandwiches! Made fresh or you can grab-n-go. Don’t let the fact that it’s inside the Marathon gas station fool you, these are the best breakfast sandwiches around. Real eggs cooked on a real grill with options for bacon, sausage patty, spicy sausage links, and more. I just found my new go-to and will be frequenting often. The other review claiming they don’t have sandwiches is just wrong and should be removed.

Inside the Marathon gas station. You can order at the counter and pay at the general register. The staff was fast, friendly and the biscuits are buttery, salty, and delicious! Great price too. I could compare it to a Martin's biscuit.

Delicious food and fast service. Biscuits are very fluffy and flavorful. Will take a few extra minutes for large orders of 10 or more biscuits, but they offer call ahead without issue.

Absolutely love this place. They have fresh biscuits and sandwiches under a warmer if you're in a super hurry, or even fresher ones that they make on the spot if you're not. Either way, delicious and convenient. Plus, everyone is incredibly friendly.
